(논문요약)[목적] 본 논문은 지금의 우리 문학교육이 변화하는 교육환경 속에서 보다 개방적인 이해와 적극성을 갖추길 바라는 마음에서 출발하였다. 그러한 차원에서 바라보는 영상매체의 저변 확대로써 문학교육을 논하고자 한다. 분명 지금의 문학교육은 영상사회 속에서 이루어지고 있다. 문학이 사회적 소산이라는 점을 감안한다면, 지금의 사회 속에서 너무도 지대한 영향력을 보이고 있는 영상매체를 그 교육적 차원으로 수용함은 차라리 자연스러운 것이며, 여기에 본 연구의 가치가 있다 하겠다. (영문초록)[영문초록] This research is motivated from finding the solution of how the literacy education have to progress and for groping the solutions for the way of appropriate application in this 'Picture Age'. 'Picture' is the easy way of communication by visual, sound, movement therefor it has power to create sensible result compare to literature, a drawing, a photo. Focus on the educational function of picture medium, it can be found that the picture medium work to stimulate the learner's imagination. This research is based on films which the learners experience in general and easy. Nevertheless several change of curriculum the point of the literature education is the same "Imagination" which is the goal of this research. Films are present to find the genuine meaning of imagination and to improve it. First of all, study on the difference between the original novel and dramatized novel and also focused on 'imaginative factor' of films. And investigated the solution of how 'the imagination of films' can be applied in literature education. In this task, the subject of study is original novel and dramatized novel for comparison on printing media and picture media. If this research was applied in school, what we call science-fiction film could be good text for imaginative conception. Educational subject of this study is high school student. Becarse the ability of critical consideration and imagination is based on learners experience, that is, in the progress of acknowledgement is founded on empirical decision. Eventually learners experience is the process of imagination. This research present one of skill that lead learners to be creative and imaginative being. This solytion considers learner's interest and taste to provide practical reinforcemenet and new trial of harmonization between films and literature education. Here this research's original goal. Temporary installation for teaching skill withoyt propriety of objectivity is one of the question we have solve out in the long run.
