(논문요약)[국문초록] 한국영화산업은 최근 몇 년 동안 성공적인 성과를 내었다. 이러한 성과는 한국 드라마와 영화, 가요에 의한 성과였다고 할 수 있다. 영화산업은 문화산업의 한 부분으로 미래산업으로 많은 잠재력과 성장가능성을 가진 산업 분야이다. 한국영화산업은 '한류'의 영향으로 한국을 넘어 아시아시장에서 그 인지도를 높이고 있으며 이를 바탕으로 국제시장에서의 성공을 꾀하려 하고 있다. 이러한 아시아시장에의 인지도는 한국영화시장이 국제경쟁력을 갖추기 위한 좋은 기회임에 분명하기에 국제경쟁력을 얻기 위한 보다 체계적인 현황분석과 전략이 필요할 것이다.
