(논문요약)[국문초록]1990년대 소비에트해체에 따른 혼란의 시기를 지나 2000년대 들어와 러시아 연방 (Российская федерация)이라는 새로운 명칭 아래 현재의 안정을 찾기까지 러시아에는 급격한 변화가 있었다. 서구식 시장경제체제가 도입되면서 서구의 상업적 대중문화의 무분별한 유입과 그에 따라 파생된 다양한 문화산업이 대대적으로 유통되었다. 그 결과, 이질적인 서구의 문화요소들이 러시아적인 요소들과 새롭게 교차하게 된 긍정적인 측면도 있었지만 오랜 시간 지켜온 민족 고유의 문화 정체성 상실이라는 문제점과 문화예술계도 경제력에 의해 지배를 받는 현실에 직면하게 되었다. 비록 서구의 것을 급격하게 현실에 바로 적용시키는 정책으로 인해 혼란을 겪었고 이로 인해 파생되었던 여러 문제들이 있었지만 과거 문화?예술 강대국으로써 자신들만의 문화적 독창성에 대한 자긍심을 되새기며 러시아만의 독특한 고유문화로 정착시키려는 노력을 통해 현실의 이러한 문제들을 하나씩 해소해 나가고 있다. 최근 러시아 문화계에서는 이러한 위기 상황을 떨쳐 버리고 러시아 인텔리겐치아의 일원으로서 러시아만의 소중한 정신적 가치를 대중의 집단의식 속에서 되살리고 민족의식과 문화적 자긍심을 높이고자 하는 예술가들의 시도가 활발해 지는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 포스트-소비에트 영화계의 흐름과 알렉산드르 사쿠로프 감독의 2002년 作 《러시아 방주》를 통해 현재 러시아 문화계에 새롭게 대두되고 있는 러시아 정체성의 문제와 그와 관련된 담론들에 대해 조망하고자 한다. (영문초록)[영문초록]After the chaotic period in the 1990s caused by the collapse of Soviet Union, Russia had experienced radical changes in the 2000s until it stabilized under the new name, the Russian Federation (Российская федерация). Along with the western economic system, the country indiscriminately accepted commercial popular culture from the west and thus a variety of cultural industries derived from the western culture and were prevalent nationwide. As a result, heterogeneous cultural elements from the west mixed with the Russian culture. However, there existed a problem with Russia as it began to lose its traditional cultural identity. Also, Russia faced the reality that even culture and art industries were dominated by the economic powers. The country experienced a chaos due to the policies that quickly applied the western culture, and there were a lot of issues derived from this. Thus, Russia is currently working to resolve such problems step by step, remembering its cultural uniqueness and old status as a leading nation in the fields of art and culture. As a part of the Russian intelligentsia, Russian artists have strived to revive spiritual values and to increase the ethnic awareness and cultural self-esteem. This study investigates the problems of ethic identity and related discussions by looking at the trend in the Post-Soviet film industry and a film titled Russian Ark by Aleksandr Nikolayevich Sokurov was released in 2002.
