(논문요약)[국문] 본 논문은 2014년 7월, 중국에서 개봉한 영화 “소시대3”주인공 중 neil에 대 한 인물구축에 관한 연구로 실제 영화제작과정에 본 연구자가 배우로 참여한 것을 중심으로 적용한 것이다. 배우란 무엇일까 그리고 그 기준은 누구에 의해 정해지는 것일까. 많은 사람이 배 우라 인식하고 있으면 배우인 것인가 아니면 흔히들 보는 포털싸이트 인물검새에 배우로 등록이 되어 있으면 배우인 것인가. 아니면 어느 특정인물에게 인정받아야 배우인 것인가. 연극영화과 대학 같은 특정기관을 졸업해야 배우인 것인가. 배우를 정의내리기가 참 애매모호하다. 이러한 의문들이 본 연구자가 논문을 작성하게 된 계기가 되었다. 먼저 이 작품에 대한 간략한 설명을 하자면 이 소시대 란 작품은 중국의 천재적인 베스트셀러 작가로 1위를 차지했던 궈징밍 작가의 작품이다. 이 작품 소시대는 책 으로 먼저 발표되어 많은 독자들이 이 책을 좋아하였고 많은 팬덤이 있을 만큼 유 명한 책이었다. 이 책을 영화를 만들게 된 궈징밍 작가는 직접 감독으로 연출을 맡 았고 감독으로써의 첫 데뷔작이 본인 작품인 소시대가 되었다. 이 작품은 1편2편 모두 영화로 제작되어 중국에 큰 흥행을 거두었고 3편, 4편 제작을 앞두고 있었다. neil이라는 인물은 1편2편에는 나오지 않았던 3편4편의 새로운 인물이다. 영화라는 특성상 현장에서 촬영하는 동안 많은 변수나 변화들이 있다. 다만 배우는 그러한 변수나 변화에 슬기롭게 대처해 가며 어떻게 더 사실적인 캐릭터를 만들 수 있을지 센스를 발휘해야한다. 이 인물 분석을 통해 영화 촬영 시 배우가 촬영 전에 확실한 캐릭터의 분석과 그 캐릭터에 대해 얼마나 믿느냐가 연기의 질에 영향을 준다는 사실도 알게 되었다. 대본분석을 하고 캐릭터에 대한 여러 가지 고민과 캐릭터를 만들기 위한 트레이닝 과정들을 본 논문에서 다루었던 바와 같이 다양한 방법으로 준비했었다. 하지만 영 화촬영현장에선 또 다른 현실적인 어려움들이 기다리고 있었다. 영화, 드라마, 연극 모두 대본을 숙지하고 캐릭터를 분석하고 그러한 사전 트레이닝 과정은 교집합이 있을 것이다. 하지만 현장에서의 변수는 서로 각자 매우 다르다고 본 연구자는 느 끼게 되었다. 구체체적으로 말해 상대배우가 대사를 표현할 때 수많은 표정들 감정들 미세한 느 낌들이 얼굴과 눈빛 목소리를 통해 전달되게 되는데 그것을 잘 수용하고 받아들이 고 받아들이는 대로 반응하고 자신의 반응에 대사를 입혀서 내보내는 것이다. 본 연구자는 중국영화이기에 이 작품은 중국스텝 중국감독 중국배우들과 함께 작업 했다. 그래서 한국에서 한국 사람들과 작업하는 것보다 큰 어려움들이 많았는데 물 론 언어의 장벽이 제일 컸다. 이 논문은 이처럼 인간의 본질적인 자유의지에 초점에 맞춰 대본을 분석하고, 대사 의 의미와 등장인물들 간에 관계를 연구할 뿐만 아니라 외국 스텝과의 촬영현장에 서의 실질적인 배우로서 느끼는 모든 것들을 어떠한 방법으로 표현하고, 소통하는 가를 연구함에 충실하였음을 밝힌다. (영문초록)[영문] The thesis is based on the actor's experiences of participating in the movie production process while acting as a character "Neil" in the movie relased in China, titled <Tiny Times 3>, What is an actor? And who decides the standards of being an actor? Can a person be called as an actor if many people know this person? Or Is he an actor if he appears in a website mentioning his job as an "Actor"? These kinds of questions that I started to ask myself triggered me to write this thesis. To briefly explain about the work, the <Tiny Times> series are the works of a chinese genius Best-seller author called Guo Jing Ming. The series was first published in paper books and became very popular creating numerous fans in China. The author Guo Jing Ming, herself became the director of the <Tiny Times> movie series. And the Movie <Tiny Times> became her debut film. Series 1 and 2 are already produced in films, with successful box-office records in China, and series 3 and 4 is on their way to be produced in films. The character "Neil" is a new character that appears from series 3 to 4. Movie by its nature, a lot of variables and differences can be made in the filming spots. However, an actor should be able to adapt to those variables and difficulties, and also should be able to discover his hidden abilities while trying to find out how to make his character more realistic. Through this character analysis I also realized that how much the actor understands and believes in his character has huge effects on the quality of acting. Analyzing the script and concerning about the character were done in a various ways ahead as I mentioned in the thesis. However, the filming spots were full of other realistic difficulties. Movies, TV shows, plays all might have the intersections in ways of training, Such as, being fully aware of script and analyzing the character. However, I felt that different variables in different spots make it different each other. To put it concretely, the coactor's numerous facial expressions and tiny senses are being transferred through his or her faces and voices tones. And acting is mainly about fully excepting those signals and reacting in my own ways with words and emotions. Because it was chinese movie , I worked with Chinese director, Chinese staffs and Chinese actors and actresses. Therefore, it was a lot harder than working in Korea with Korean people and the language barrier was the biggest problem. In conclusion, it is said that this thesis was analyzed focusing on human nature of the character, along with studying the relationships with the others in the movie. It is also said that this thesis is faithfully studying, mainly focusing on how the actor can communicate and express his own feelings while working with foreign staffs in oversea filming spots.
