(논문요약)[목적] 본 논문은 미국의 비판이론가 프레드릭 제임슨과 독일의 문학의 문예학자 페터 뷔르거의 관점에서 살펴본 예술에서의 내용과 형식간의 관계에 대한 글이다. 이들의 이론을 바탕으로 세 개의 예술이론 또는 문학이론을 다루는데 그것은 각각 러시아 형식주의, 모더니즘 시기의 비판이론가인 아도르노와 루카치, 정치적 모더니즘의 이론이다. 이들을 살펴보는 것은 임의적인 선택에 의한 것은 아니다. 이들은 모두 독창적으로 예술에서의 내용과 형식간의 관계를 설정하였다는 점에서 고찰의 의미가 있다. (영문초록)[영문초록] This article deals with model modernism written in term of Fredric Jameson and Peter Burger. Especially this article is focused on criticisme theory of Russian formalist theory and political modernism because these theories accoount for art in the position of form. Reing different from traditional theories, these theories are regarded that the form of all to beunderstood as art work which is more advance than traditional and typical criticism that regards art as social thinking. Howetrer, they made wrong conclusion that the form of art is same as the work, because they get rid of the important fact, history in their criticism, which can net dicisive meaning from the form and freedom of art. Jameson and Burger also see the importance of the form, the freedom of art, but they understand art through historical state. They don`t make extreme conclusion which art mild the form are same thing. Therefore their theories can be basis for critique to russian formalist film theories and screens theories. According to the theries of Jameson and Burger, it is able to understand changing of all form through historica] state.
