(논문요약)[목적] 이번 다큐멘터리(통일시대의 아이들)에서는 신세대드르이 통일의식, 즉 통일에 대한 가치, 태도, 인식 등을 실질적인 조사와 취재를 통하여 폭넓게 파악하고 문제점과 시사점을 밝힘으로서, 신세대들에게 올바른 통일의식을 정립시키고 통일승계세대로서의 역할과 기능을 제대로 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 데에 도움이 되고자 한다. (영문초록)[영문초록] Documentary film in Korea are different from those of other countries. v They differ from American film in terms of production costs and distribution channels and also from Japanese "autonomous" films. Latin American film and revolutionary films from other countries, which played an important role in the 1970`s Third World cinema are also unlike documentary films of Korea. Korean documentary films were created on a base of both Korean and foreign influences. The Korean base is founded on a social orientation, mainly the "Three Min" philosophy of minjung, minju, mijok which originally was adopted in Korean literatlve and art. The foreign base includes films critical of society from France and other European countries. Latin American films, and independently poduced films of the United States and Japan which were of particular interest because of their modes of production.
