(논문요약)[국문초록]이 논문은 1980년대(1981-1989)의 한국 영화 가운데서 특히 남녀 간의 성애표현을 많이 다룬 작품들을 대상으로 한국 영화 성애표현의 특성을 연구 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 1980년대의 영화 여덟편을 대상으로 그 특성을 추출하고자 하였다. 성애 표현에 있어서 한국 영화가 갖는 특정은 영화의 내용과 형식, 인물이라는 세가지 측면에서 찾아 볼 수 있었는데 분석 결과 연구대상으로 한 영화들은 줄거리의 구성이 단순하며 당위성이 없는 성적 표현이 반복되어 사건의 매개체가 되는 소프트 포르노 영화의 성격을 띠고 있었다. 한편 주로 사용되는 소재로는 남녀간의 애정이 전제로 된 것이 아닌 매매춘이나 강간과 같은 불건전한 관계에서의 성을 주로 다루고 있었다. 그밖의 형식적인 측면에서는 화면의 크기나 시점(카메라의 위치), 편집, 성행위가 이루어지는 장소 등을 이용하여 화면위의 여성을 사물화하여 비인격적인 존재로 취급하고 있으며 또 다른 한편으로는 성을 지배적인 가부장적 질서의 언어로 고착시키고 있는 점을 발견할 수 있었다. 이러한 내용과 형식은 영화의 인물들을 살아 있는 자동 인형, 창녀, 흡혈귀, 강간자, 기둥서방, 성 불능자와 같이 평면적이면서 한편으로는 건강치 못한 인물로 왜곡시켰고 이 왜곡은 남녀 모두에게서 나타나고 있었다. 이상과 같은 한국 영화의 성애표현의 특정들은 性을 자연스럽지 못한것으로 제한하여 또 다른 성의 억압을 낳는 결과를 초래하였으며 궁극적으로는 한국 영화사의 발달에 장애를 가져 왔다고 간주된다. (영문초록)[영문초록]Sex is one of the most important parts in our lives. And like other arts,sex in films can be also sublimed as eroticism. A number of erotic films were produced in Korea during 80's. This study deals with 8 Korean films in 80's which have a lot of expressions with the object of finding out the distinctions of Korean films in presenting sex. The distinctions can be founded in film substance, film form and characters. On film substance, the story is simple and sexual expressions are repeated without any propriety. As the result the narrative structure is similar to the structure of softcore pornography. As analyzing on subject matters, most of them deal with the sex between unwholesome relationships like prostitutions and rapes. On film form, it has made the films adhere to patriarchal order using film frame, point of view, editing and the place in which sexual expressions happen. These substance and form has distorted female and male characters as unsound images. Above-mentioned distinctions restrict sex in films to be unnatural and produce other sexual oppression. It has been a barrier for Korean cinema to progress.
