(논문요약)[목적]미야자키 하야오 의 '붉은 돼지'의 서사적 내용의 텍스트 분석을 통하여 미야자키 하야오 자신의 사상과 비행에 관한 개인의 이상을 담은 작품속에 메세지의 의미를 연구하고,작품 제작의 형식상 구성된 행위자의 분석하여 구조를 살펴보는 작업은 의미있는 일이라고 할 수 있다. (영문초록)As a kind of contemporary arts, the animation has noticeable significations itself. The basic purpose of this study is research into meanings of the messages through the analysis of narrative style and the internal structures through the analysis of figures' functions in 'The Red Pork', by Miyajaky Hayao, as a text. I set up a question tha can find the meanings of the text in the following; How is the narrative style composed in 'The Red Pork'? In order to find the answer, I attempted the syntagmatic analysis that had been used in research on the russian folk tales by B. Propp, as an analytical method. Ultimately, I came to the final conclusions of this study as followings; First, in analysing the functions of hero in 'The Red Pork', some typical figures as a hero are found, but in several parts, such as the anti-heros were not punished and the above animation didn't tell the 'happy-ending', other differents ways which structured the hero's myth can be found . Second, in 'The Red Pork', the binary opposition between the Good and the Bad are not expressed distinguishably that diferrent from Propp's analysis of the russian folk tales. Finally, a hero ,expressed in Miyajaky Hayao' animation 'The Red Pork', isn't a subject who structurize the society voluntarily and clear the disorder but a subject who disappear from it with social disorder.
