- (논문요약) This Thesis deals with norms in film translation, concentrating on the subtitling of Closer. Imported movies are flooded in Korea, but scholarly research has been rare in this field. Movies are mostly imported from the U.S., which means we are translating English to Korean in most cases. As we are translating enormous numbers of film each year, many studies on the film translation should be done at this point.
