(논문요약)[국문초록]본 연구는 한국의 무도영화의 흐름을 고찰하고 발전되는 과정을 연구함으로써, 무도영화가 어떤 흐름을 지녀왔고 또 앞으로는 어떤 흐름을 예고할 것인가를 추론하고자 기획되었다. 이에 영화와 관련된 도서, 사전, 잡지와 간행물 등 문서자료와 영화라는 문화현상의 특수성을 인지하여 영상자료를 통하여 영화를 분석하고 관련된 기록들을 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 시대적 범위는 근대화의 가장 큰 영향력을 지녔던 박정희 정부부터 이명박 정부에 이르며, 각 정부의 문화적 배경들과 영화가 만들어진 당시의 문화적 상황을 문화사적으로 살펴보았다. 문화와 예술은 인간의 삶의 모든 것이라 형용하여도 과언이 아닐 것이다. 또한 과거 정부의 억압이나 인위적인 조정 및 조율 등이 존재한다 할지라도 문화와 예술은 또 다른 측면에서 찬란한 꽃을 피울 수도 있다. 특히, 다양한 문화적 장치들로 구성되어 가장 많은 부가가치를 창출하는 영화라는 문화장르가 가장 많이 사용하는 소재 중에 하나인 무도는 시각적 화려함과 동시에 동양적 사상과 철학까지 표방하고 있다. 물론 폭력을 대변하는 매우 왜곡되고 편향된 사용으로 인하여 그 가치가 절하되는 분위기가 존재하지만, 그럼에도 무도영화의 문화사적 가치는 중요하게 다루어져야 한다. 이에 박정희 정부부터 이명박 정부까지 무도영화를 통해 나타난 한국 무도문화의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 박정희 정부는 군부독재로써 문화를 통제하려 하였다. 영화의 주제와 줄거리를 독재정권의 연장에 이용하는 한편, 영화를 부가가치 창출의 수단으로만 생각하여 문화의 기업화 정책을 실시하였다. 이는 영화계의 자본구조의 기형적 형태를 낳았고, 창의성과 표현의 자유를 저해하였기에 무도영화의 발전방향의 틀을 지정하는 문제를 야기 시켰다. 둘째, 전두환·노태우 정부 역시 문화통제의 권력장치로써 3S를 철저하게 자신들의 이득에 맞추어 사용하였다. 때문에 무도영화는 3S정책에 가장 알맞은 문화장르로서 그 역할을 다했고, 선정적이고 폭력적인 특징들은 무도영화의 주를 이루게 됐다. 셋째, 정권교체를 이뤄낸 김대중·노무현 정부는 활발하고 적극적인 국민들의 문화 활동을 토대로 삼았다. 이에 다양함과 신선함으로 문화의 꽃을 피워냈지만, 자율적인 정책이 가져온 문화적 정서는 개인적으로는 ‘이기’를 집단 간에는 일방적인 소통을 강요하는 불통을 탄생시켰다. 이는 ‘책임없는 자유’와 ‘의무 없는 권리’등의 문화를 만들어 냈다. 이는 무도영화도 돈을 벌기 위한 수단으로만 사용되어지는 결과를 가중시켰다. 넷째, 이명박 정부의 문화통제는 다른 정권자들보다 세련되고 매끄러웠다. 거대 언론의 홍보 없이 SNS로 인한 홍보와 정보접근의 편의성, 공통된 정서적 공감이 영화 시장을 활성화시켰고, 이런 점에서 무도영화는 기존 영화계의 권력으로 군림하는 기득권세력에 의지하지 않고 주체성 확립이 가능했다. (영문초록)[영문초록]This study examines the flow of Korea's martial arts movies, and the process of development. With this Korea's martial arts movies in the future will want to infer flow. The period scope of this study from Park, Jung Hee government to Lee, Myung Bak, each government's cultural background and cultural context of the time the film was made in the cultural history was investigated. Even if there are the government's repression and artificial adjustment and coordination, arts and culture are another aspect of the glorious bloom in may. In particular, Martial arts culture that the film genre is one of the most commonly used material that has been advocating visual splendor and at the same time to Eastern thought and philosophy. Of course, a very distorted and biased representation of violence caused by the use of its value depreciated atmosphere that exists. But nevertheless worth martial arts movies of the cultural history should be taken seriously. Hence in this study, we shall have the following meanings. Firstly, analysis of cultural elements that are included the Park, Jung Hee government's martial arts movies, and then at the time of policy research is to analyze the problem. The military dictatorship of Park, Jung Hee government tried to control as a culture, and they thought the movies as a means of profit-industrialization policies has caused the problem that power distance of film industry. Secondly, the Chun, Doo Hwan and Roh, Tae Woo government's cultural elements seen in martial arts films of the policy at the time of the study is to analyze the problem. Chun, Doo Hwan and Roh, Tae Woo as well 3S power devices thoroughly used according to their own benefit. As a result, countries across the cultural side effects occurred in society and these reactions appear in the movie is the Martial Arts. Thirdly, through the Kim, Dae Jung and the Roh, Moo Hyun government's martial arts movie's, at the time of the policy and across the cultural and social factors are analyzed. Cultural elements of government of the People accomplished regime change and participatory government maintained were active and aggressive on the basis of people's cultural activities, cultural diversity and freshness found in bloom. However, due to the cultural atmosphere of autonomous policy and emotions provoked 'selfishness' and to impose a one-sided communication 'impassability', and this has led to pain relief today. Fourthly, the Lee, Myung Bak government's cultural elements analyzed in martial arts films of the policy at the time of the study is to look about the problem. The Lee, Myung Bak government control of the culture is very stylish and artistic, so produced artistic wind for independent film. Without the huge publicity in the media, promotion of SNS, ease of access to information, a common emotional empathy was activated independent film market.
