Synopsis
Jeju Island and Jeju people who suffered from wounds through the Jeju April 3 Incident… and the story of Gangjeong Village which is painfully unfolding… Gang Sang-hee, an old woman who had lived in Nabeup-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, and her husband, Kim Bong-su, become victims of the "Jeju April 3 Incident." Gangjeong Village in Seoguipo-si is up in arms over the naval base issue. A lot of banners that read "The revengeful spirits of the Jeju April 3 Incident let out a wail" show that the Jeju April 3 Incident and the naval base issue are no different. Circling Nabeup-ri, Gasi-ri, Gangjeong village in Jeju Island, and Osaka, Japan like ghosts, the camera starts to retrace their steps and cracks and returns to the front yard of the house where the old woman, Gang Sang-hee, lives alone. The old woman has put a rusty saw under her pillow at some point. When can the rusty saw be put away from the life of Jeju Island and the Jeju people who are in deep sorrow?
