Synopsis
Sang-Hyeong, who makes a living as a chauffeur, takes pride in supporting his younger brother, Sang-jin, to become a doctor and lives with his younger brother’s family. One day, an urgent patient is driven to Sang-Jin’s hospital, but dies before arrival. The patient’s family spreads rumors about the hospital, leaving Sang-Jin no choice but to go bankrupt. Sang-Jin gets into an argument with his wife after closing the hospital and leaves home with Sang-Hyeong. Sang-Hyeong works as a chauffeur and Sang-Jin treats patients free of charge in order to reopen his hospital. A philanthropist is deeply moved by the brothers’ care and love for each other that he donates a hospital for Sang-Jin to work at again. However, Sang-Hyeong’s daughter, Young-Yi, who was on her way to see her father, gets into a car accident and dies. Sang-Hyeong carries Young-Yi’s dead body and wails in front of his dead wife’s grave.
