Mun-sik ran into Hui-jeong, his fiancé before the Korean War and ended up spending the night together. Hui-jeong’s husband Tae-su witnessed their infidelity and reported the two to the police for adultery. The kindhearted wife of Mun-sik apologized to Tae-su in tears and begged for forgiveness. Tae-su, who loved his wife finally decided to drop the charges and forgave his wife, and the two returned to their families.
