Synopsis
Five warriors from the Vietnamese War, Seok-Gu, Dong-Wu, Gwang-Ho, Un-Cheol, and sergeant Jang, return to their homeland. Gwang-Ho and Jang successfully start their own business selling radios to people. Un-Cheol, who grew up in an orphanage, gets a job as a waiter at a club and debuts as a singer. Seok-Gu takes care of his sick old mother and runs a cart bar while preparing for a high school exam which he eventually passes. Meanwhile, Dong-Wu runs away from home when his father's company goes bankrupt for breaking the law. His successful comrades help his family with all their hearts. On the day of Un-Cheol's performance, Gwangho meets his wife Yun, who left the house. Un-Cheol’s mother, Mrs. Song, who was wandering in search of her son, was able to reunite with him. Dong-Wu also goes back to his family, and Seok-Gu reunites with his sibling, Hee-Jeong. All the comrades rejoice.
