Synopsis
After the liberation, the Petty Officer Kang Yu-jin joins the coastguard fleet. Yu-jin meets Captain Ku Sang-chul and plays a role in founding the navy. His friend Dong-suk enters the Naval Academy and becomes an officer. Known as a ferocious officer, Yu-jin has three daughters and a son who has entered the Naval Academy. His three daughters marry naval officers but his son becomes only a foot soldier after graduation. When his son dies during the big-scale anti-spy operation, Yu-jin meets Dong-suk and sobs, confessing his wish to make his son a star. That had been a regret for Yu-jin.
