Synopsis
Deuk-bo comes to Yellow Village to find Bun-ie. Bun-ie is being won over by Eok-swoi, a strong man. Deuk-bo fights Eok-swoi in anger but soon feels affectionate towards Eok-swoi's strength and character and decides to live in the village. Eok-swoi helps Deuk-bo settle down and Deuk-bo sends Bun-ie to Eok-swoi. Bun-ie wants Eok-swoi to become a patriotic citizen but Deuk-bo and Eok-swoi escape reality through alcohol. Bun-ie blames Deuk-bo and Seol-hi for Eok-swoi's behavior and kills Seol-hi and seriously wounds Deuk-bo. She then commits suicide. After her death, Eok-swoi realizes her loyalty and innocence and jumps from a cliff to his death.
