Synopsis
Jin-ho in his senior year in college stays with the artist Hwang while he is in Paris. Broken hearted by betrayal of his girlfriend, Hi-jeong, and disappointed by degradation of Hwang to a commercial painter, he leaves his house. He works at a cafe washing dishes and soon falls for the owner Ms. Yun. He confesses his love for her but she reproaches him. He becomes a painter on the hill of Montmartre with a topknot on his hair that made him famous enough to have a private exhibition. It was only possible with the support of Yun. He wishes to be closer to her, yet cold hearted Yun turns him down. He considers going back to Korea but soon repents his rashness and sets his mind for a new start.
