Synopsis
Man-suk, from the fallen Park family, is a cheerful young man with a chivalrous spirit. He setsout on a journey to find Park Chi-sam who's held for debt in Namsan of Hanyang. He carries with him 1000 yangs which he got for selling the farm. But Man-suk is tricked by Deul-byung's pimp and loses his money. He goes to Mr. Chung whom Park had helped out when he was alive to ask for help. But he's turned away and then dragged to spend a night with Mr. Chung's daughter as a way to thwart her misfortune. He finally arrives in Hanyang to learn that Chi-sam had lied in his letters. He cries with rage. But Bo-bae, Mr. Chung's daughter, has followed him there but is dragged off to a brothel. He tries to rescue her but is captured by Hyun-gam and is put in a precarious position. But Wang and his men save Man-suk.
