Synopsis
Sung-gi is what people call the "sandwich" generation. He is sandwiched between the old, controlling generation and the upwardly mobile younger generation. Working as the development manager at Osung Electronics, he is under constant stress and aggravation. Since his promotion five years ago, he has not come up with one new idea. He has only one song that he can actually sing at Karaoke halls. Sang-min is a newly hired rookie. He is procrastinating mama's boy who develops a crush on Hye-su. She is a smart cookie who is deft at dealing with romantic overtures from cowardly men. Young-chang is the senior manager who is intelligent and respected but suffers from suspicions about his wife's fidelity. Jong-won whose career has stagnated to celebrity status within the company has trouble with intimacy. Sun-mook is having an extra-marital affair right under his wife's nose. General manager Joo-sang takes his frustration out on everyone he works with and that is his only consolation. These people are portraits of life in these modern times.
