Synopsis
Jin-young, a third rate comic, is a single father to a cute but precocious little girl named Ga-young. Father and daughter have a love-hate relationship but they are each other's only family. They soon realize this fact when they must face up to a corrupt cabaret manager. Jin-young manages to get a job but there is an immense setback when he is arrested for child protection laws and is thrown in jail. Ga-young is sent to a child custody facility. There she meets Ga-heun, the head of the center. But Ga-young is unresponsive to Ga-heun's care and only longs to reunite with her father. Jin-young comes to fetch Ga-young just as she leaves with an imposter. Ga-heun married to Jin-young seven years ago but she decided to leave him, bored with his irresponsible lifestyle. When her mother in law told her that her baby was stillborn, Ga-heun did not look back. Now Jin-young and Ga-heun meet again at a child protection center. Ga-heun recognizes that Ga-young is her daughter. Ga-young is rescued from the imposter and is reunited with Jin-young. When she finds out that Ga-heun is her mother, she opens up to her. But happiness is short lived when Ga-heun learns of her daughter's illness. Ga-young dies in her mother's arms as her father helplessly watches on.
