Synopsis
Hyeon-ju is 29 years old, working in the subway. She has a boyfriend named So-hun whom she has been dating for a long time. So-hun studied biology at the university and now works for a pest exterminating company. He may seem a bit curt sometimes, but he is kind-hearted and thoughtful. One day on his way to buy a gift for Hyeon-ju, he gets stuck in an elevator with the country’s most popular actress Eun Da-yeong. Da-yeong is nervous, but So-hun is only interested in a rare type of cockroach he spotted in the elevator. Da-yeong is impressed by the So-hun treats her, unlike anyone else she knows. Even after she is rescued from the elevator, her sentiments for him linger in her heart. She tries to approach him deliberately, by calling for an extermination job at her house, and contracting as a model for So-hun’s company. Hyeon-ju is shocked when she reads about the scandal between Da-yeong and her boyfriend. The only one who is still unaware of what’s going on is So-hun. So-hun denies Da-yeong’s feeling for him thinking that such a celebrity wouldn’t be interested in an ordinary guy like himself. But Hyeon-ju knows that Da-yeong is sincere about So-hun, and this leads to frequent arguments between the couple. Hyeon-ju tries to get back her boyfriend, but things have changed so much.
