Synopsis
A story of cruel acts occurring in a place where Amnokgang that flows between Yanggang-do of North and Changbai in China is narrowest. The short but also long distance of 48M determines life and death. As of 2012, the number of persons who left North Korea is approximately 200,000. Among them, approximately 23,000 came to Korea, with remaining approximately 180,000 persons either forcibly returned to North Korea or forced to wander various countries in the world including China and Asian countries. The reason they cross the 48m wide river -- which is narrow but also wide -- at the risk of their life is that they earnestly wanted to live.
