Synopsis
Life starts in bed, finishes in bed. B.E.D is a drama of relationship and a new sexual report as well. Director Park Chul-soo, in his age of mid 60’s, searches for universal sexual imagination, deviation and desire of human beings, utilizing only three characters of man B, his sweetheart but another’s wife E and his true wife D, together with a bed as a medium. This film is based on a short story of the same name written by Ms. Kwon Ji-ye, a renowned novelist and the author of『 Eel Stew』 and 『Temptation』. Director Park dramatized the story with his own hands and, as a result, squared his message with that of the author; ‘If love is hunger, sex is food’.
