Synopsis
We call him a hero. Byeongsu, an administrative official of the district office, is a man of integrity and honesty in work who carries a lunch box of seasoned salted shrimp with barley rice, despite various temptations of injustice and scolding from other people around him. He is a foolish man so nosy that he cannot stand injustice at all, so he takes care of underprivileged and victimized people’s business within his jurisdiction and gets beaten up by gangsters for doing that, Byeongsu has a father in his eighties, waiting for Korea’s unification until his final day. One day, a young female North Korean defector approaches Byeongsu, who works with integrity despite all kinds of temptations and threats.
