Synopsis
The day after her father’s funeral, Hana goes to his old house to clear the place out, and finds an unexpected company—none other than his dog, Ddaengi. Hana struggles to accept the sudden death of her long-estranged father, and ends up abandoning Ddaengi. At last, her daily life is back on track. She tries to forget her old family and seeks stability in her new family. However, haunted by a sporadic sense of guilt, she starts looking for Ddaengi again. That Ddaengi is a companion dog, not a keepsake from Hana’s father, means that he should be accepted as a new family member. That way, Hana can restore her relationship with her late father, and look into her own wounds. It will hurt for sure, but her wounds will only start healing when exposed.
