Synopsis
Han is an old virtuous woman who became a widow even before the wedding ceremony so she has grown old keeping her chastity. Han lives happily with her grandson's wife, Jum-sun, a widow after three years of marriage, and her adopted son, Kim Cho-si. That peace is broken when the strong vagabond servant Du-chil shows up. Jum-sun feels guilty for she's been secretly meeting Du-chil. Jum-sun is so enamored with Du-chil that she even has his child. Following Cho-si's orders, Du-chil takes his child and goes away. After raising his son and sending him to college, Du-chil dies. The son comes to see his mother Jum-sun but she just sends him away.
